Join us at the UVA Global Passport Drive for students, faculty, staff, and their families! Passport officials from USPS will be on Grounds to accept passport and renewal applications and to answer questions. Passport photo can be taken at the event for $15.

Required Documents
Please visit the State Department’s website in advance to see documents you are required to present at the Drive, such as original birth certificate and driver's license, for your application and the associated fee.
Payment Methods
- Passport application fee to the State Department, $130: personal check or money order (cash not accepted)
- Application processing fee to USPS, $35: personal check or money order (cash not accepted)
- Photo fee to Christian Hommel Store: cash, personal check, or credit card
Processing Times
Passport processing times are currently significantly delayed: 8-11 weeks for routine processing and 10 weeks for expedited. See the announcement on the State Department's Passport page for details, and plan accordingly.
