Many exciting programs are in the pipeline for this year’s Global Week which will be celebrated from October 23-30.

Every year, Students, faculty, and staff at the University engage in a variety of education abroad programs, research, collaboration, and service across the globe. All of these activities result in a knowledge exchange that enriches the community on Grounds and around the world. Global Week at UVA seeks to showcase these activities each fall.

There will be panels and workshops, festivals and guest speakers. Hear from members of the University community as they discuss their diverse global experiences and critical topics, including sustainability, and global democracy. Sign up to volunteer at the VISAS Global Café, or visit Morven Farms for an introduction to calligraphy techniques from around the world.

The annual Passport Drive will be held on Wednesday, October 27th at Hotel A. Representatives from the United States Post Office will be on site to accept passport and renewal applications for UVA faculty, staff, students, and their families (routine only; they cannot accept applications for expedited processing). Please make sure you bring all necessary documents with you!
