The Department of Economics welcomes back esteemed alumni with diverse backgrounds in international commerce, development, finance, and more. This career panel will be moderated by Helen Hwang, a distinguished Economics BA and Foreign Affairs MA graduate who, recently retired from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
During her career as a diplomat, Ms. Hwang focused on international trade and investment, working both at Commerce Department headquarters and in the Commercial Sections of U.S. Embassies and Consulates in Seoul (twice), London, Taipei, and Osaka-Kobe. Biographies of panelists will follow.
